Alcoholism is a most wider problem in india. Most of the school and college students like to have the alcohol drinks. It's a biggest problem in india also tamilnadu. In india two states have prohibited the alcohol, the two states are manipur and gujarat.Alcoholic consumption was increased in last four years and also lot of problems are increased. The term alcoholic is now used in a broad sense to describe a pattern of drinking which is harmful to the individual or his or her family.
Men are more like to have alcohol and also they faced alcohol related problems. In nowadays drinking habits increased among women. The consumption of alcohol calculated by units. 1 unit contain 9gm of alcohol also is equal to half beer. In india 30-42% of adult has been used the alcohol, it is the latest reports says that percentage. High usage of alcohol will decrease the lifetime. 5-7% of people is abuser of alcohol. 10-20% of people were needed the treatment regarding the alcohol usage.
